Jill Pollack is busy organizing clients in their homes and offices and currently hosting Consumed, a one-hour decluttering / mini doc TV show for HGTV Canada now shooting season two.  (See Jill's Blog, the Consumed Facebook page and follow Jill on Twitter.) She is currently a spokesperson for Schick’s Simplicity Campaign and just finished her second year as the spokesperson for Avery Labels.  She has worked with other clients on SMTs and promotions including Banana Boat and Wet Ones.  She was recently featured on The Dr. Oz Show, twice on The Nate Berkus Show, and Dr. Drew's Life Changers.    Jill was just recently featured in TheNewYorkTimes.comMen’s Health and Family Circle magazines, as well as Working Mother, WSJ.comLadies Home JournalPrime Magazine and continues to be a regular on Martha Stewart SIRIUS XM Radio.  She is also featured in several Canadian outlets including The Marilyn Denis Show, The Globe and MailThe Toronto Sun and Vancouver Sun and all the national morning shows.

Jill became an organizational expert after over thirteen years as a TV producer. She worked at CBS News, The Sally Jessy Raphael Show, Extra, The Queen Latifah Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Gayle King Show, PSEUDO.com, Girls Behaving Badly (to name a few) and ended her illustrious career with the primetime reality show of The Wedding of Trista and Ryan (“The Bachelorette”). Knowing her talent for persuasion and getting things done (she figured if she could boss people around on a TV set, she could do it in their homes), she decided to utilize her highly honed organizational skills to truly help people live their best life by getting rid of clutter in closets, garages, offices, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, junk drawers, cars, purses and beyond.

Jill Pollack considers herself a personal trainer for the home and office. Her clients are people who want to declutter and get organized.   They want to get rid of all the stuff that is literally and physically blocking their lives. Her philosophy is "to own your stuff, don't let your stuff own you". She is caring, nonjudgmental and only desires to help improve the client's environment and well-being. No area is too daunting for her to handle and she has helped create systems for even the most scattered souls. She has successfully sorted the most daunting celebrity wardrobes and created order for the busiest talent manager's offices. Some of her celebrity clients include the Desperate Housewives actresses Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman, and actress and poker champion Jennifer Tilly. After working with Jill, clients not only report a physical feeling of lightness, but also an amazing surge in psychological well-being. They describe a sense of control over their lives and a renewed sense of purpose. Not only do their homes and offices run more smoothly, but they have more focus, motivation and increased productivity. They learn how to get and stay organized.

She is particularly helpful during the inherently stressful times of transition such as moving, job change, marriage, divorce or welcoming a new baby. That's when even the most organized people can feel overwhelmed. She works closely with a team of top interior designers, stylists and skilled craftsmen and has a solution for most any dilemma.

Jill offers tips on getting organized such as home organization tips, planning new office space, how to stop junk mail, spring cleaning tips and many other great ideas for downsizing clutter.  In short, Jill teaches you how to declutter and get organized.

Jill is energetic, empathetic and tries to make the process as fun as possible, after all, it's exciting to take control of your life! She is also extremely passionate about the environment, recycling and limiting waste of energy and resources. She is very knowledgeable about the environmental movement and can help advise and implement ways to make her clients more green, including advising on recycling, repurposing, energy efficiency, eco-friendly products, and numerous healthy and green practices in and out of the home and office. That is good for everyone!

She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Columbia University and a Masters in Journalism from NYU and is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
